From the Opening Speech of the Esperanto Universal Congress in 1905 in Boulogne-sur-Mer (France) by Ludwik Lejzer Zamenhof (Doktoro Esperanto). Esperanto is the international language of PEACE. Wishing for everyone to make an effort to understand it while really allowing everyone to access it and understand some: words of peace and humanity are universal language anyway: PACON.
(EN) I greet you, dear like-minded people, brothers and sisters of the great global human family, who came from close and far places, to shake hands as brothers. There are no strong and weak nations in our assembly; we all feel like members of one family. And for the first time in human history we, members of the most diverse peoples, stand side by side not as strangers, not as competitors, but as brothers; who shake hands with each other sincerely, as human to human. PEACE.

PEACE IN UKRAINE
Love is the most difficult, yet the simpler way. Two lights to welcome a shared vision. A heart of intents, there is where I start. I was in Ukraine in 2019 for a two-weeks programme about human rights education through art. I met incredible people from most of Europe, and further, with the same purpose: nurturing an inclusive society, where respect and understanding between different cultures prevails.
Today I don't want to talk about war, I want to talk about peace. That's exactly how I felt looking at the sunrise in #Ukraine a Country that today is suffering, divided and abused. My prayers are for peace. A collective purpose. That those lights may bring the right words to be written #nowar #nowarinUkraine #peace
